Talking Tech — Workshop

  • Quo Vadis 26-29 Dean Street London, England, W1D 3LL United Kingdom (map)

This sessions is not about learning how to code, traditional computer-science, or the magical ingredients to create the next big startup. Neither do we stick to high-level chat and skim over the technical details. You’ll learn a lot, fast.

We offer a unique way of approaching today’s technical landscape, so you can make sense of all the moving components involved. Part of it is going through the technical nitty gritty but in a very easy and approachable way. Part is focused on helping you find the answers you need to get any idea you might have going and off the ground, giving you tools to make sure you’re always on the right track.

The goal is for you to have the information you need to make effective decisions in today's technical landscape.

By the end, you will understand what goes into software development, be able to critically think about what good user experiences are and how to test for them, consider startup models, and understand tradeoffs between speed and features, effective development and good design.

If you’re considering launching a startup that has some technical aspect to it, this workshop will be a great match. However, the day is designed to add value to almost anyone. Whether you are working in a STEM-based company as a consultant, are an aspiring product manager, perhaps have a lingering side project, or you run and maintain a lifestyle blog — you will get something out of this course and have a fun, inspiring time.
